Generally 2 to 3 days, depending upon the type of floor treatment you choose.

Household goods/autos will have to me moved off the floor for the duration of the installation/curing process (5-6 days total for installation & curing). There will be some odor which will dissipate after the floor cures.  As in any similar project, you'll find the benefits far outweigh these temporary inconveniences.

There will be some dust, but it will be minimal. The modern equipment we use to prep the concrete all runs on a vacuum system. We're careful about removing and keeping dust to a minimum because dust and other foreign matter is unwanted during the application process.

You'll be able to walk on your new floor 24 hours after completion of the final application.  After 72 hours the floor will be sufficiently cured to allow for the return of your cars and household items.

You can choose the surface texture. It can be as smooth or textured as you like.  Smooth surfaces, though slightly easier to broom can be slippery when wet.  Texturing can be applied for much greater traction.
